Alfaz del Pi
Alfaz del Pí is a nice community with about 22,000 inhabitants. Close to beautiful beaches, good restaurants, charming Spanish mountain villages surrounded by orange and lemon groves,olive trees and nisperos fields mean that many Scandinavians have moved here. There are several golf courses of good quality nearby. There are several urbanizations and the most famous isthe Scandinavian San Rafael, Foya Blanca is in the orange groves between Alfaz and Albir and El Romeral is within walking distance to the center.Alfaz del Pi is known for its international atmosphere as almost half of the population comes from countries other than Spain.In Alfaz del Pi there is everything you need with supermarkets, banks, doctors, shops of various kinds, restaurants and bars etc. The Norwegian school is also located here.From Alicante airport it takes 45 minutes by car on the motorway. Local train runs along the Alicante – Denia coast and passes Alfaz del Pi.
